Apes curamus et nos curant (We look after bees and they look after us)

Time to enter!! All CBKA Members are welcome! Classes for everyone!
The Mid Cheshire branch organise the Honey Show at the Royal Cheshire Show. The Honey judging will be held on Monday 15th June and it is open to all members of the Cheshire Beekeepers Association.
After judging the exhibits will remain on display for the duration of the show (16th and 17th June 2026) The exhibitors will then be able to take their exhibits home at the end. However, I can organise delivery and collection of exhibits for those who are unable to attend on Monday morning and/or Wednesday afternoon.
The schedule is now online at royalcheshireshow.org and the entries are open.
This year, the show wish to charge an entry fee of £1 for each class entered but they will provide a free entrance ticket to all those who enter 10 classes. They will also give a £10 prize to the winners of the trophies for each section of the show. The usual cost of a ticket is £35.
The entry fees are payable by cheque but I have arranged with the show office that I can send one big cheque for all exhibitors if it suits people better to transfer the money to me rather than all writing individual cheques for entry fees. The show are very keen for us to expand the show so we are keen to have as many entries as possible. We would like volunteers to spend a little time helping on the stand. This is usually good fun as we have honey tasting and talk to the public about bees, beekeeping, honey, wax and other pollinators. Please contact me if you have any queries.
